  年畵는 복을 추구하고 재앙을 피하는 의미로 설날 때 대문이나 창문, 벽에 붙이는 그림이다. 年畵의 기원은 東漢 시대이며 민간에서 유행하여 오랜 기간 발전해 오면서, 소박하고도 아름다운 풍격과 짙은 향토색채를 갖추게 되었다(보어쏭니엔, 2006 : 147).

본문에서 주선진 목판화의 역사와 현황, 그리고 주선진 목판화의 특징 등을 살펴봤다.

The Zhuxian Town Woodcut Paintings are the originator of Chinese New Year’s pictures, which were put up on walls and doors and sometimes on the windows when the Chinese lunar new year in China in the past. They developed in the Song Dynasty, flourished in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Today, they not only become a part of interior decoration, but also become a unique art form of Chinese traditional painting, which is a unique art form of Chinese traditional painting.

This thesis introduced The Woodcut Paintings of Zhuxian Town, historical evolution of the Zhuxian Town Woodcut Paintings: the background of origin, development, peak, and present situation, the characteristics and technology of Zhuxian Town Woodcut Paintings, the features of colors, and analysis of the ingredients of Chinese traditional medicine for making pigment.

This thesis also Researches on the Characteristic of The Woodcut Paintings of Zhuxian Town.
